Congratulations to the top 5, all of which collect cash prizes, well done to everybody who took part this season, we’ve had a fantastic time developing the game so far and a massive thanks goes to everybody who’s helped shape the game so far.

If you’re a prize winner feel free to contact Baz to pick up your prize money, he’s expecting you. Steve Heyl, your monthly prize from the penultimate month is still in the pot and either myself or P Lee will bring this along to the next job.

Over the next month or two I’ll be working on a short video explaining the game to any newcomers, if any of you know anyone who might want to play with us next season you’ll be able to point them at the video where everything will be explained.

The payment system will be different next year, we’ll still have a treasurer, yet to be appointed, but all subs will need to be paid up in full before the first game of the season, the cost will be lower than this season as we hope to have more players so the fixed fee for the entire season will be set at £50.

There is a cashball ‘get together’ in the air, we haven’t fixed a date yet, speak to Paul Lee about this if you’re up for a few beers in a pub.

The deadline for anybody (and that’s everyone apart from Steve and Baz who have paid up to week 38) to get their subs in is 1330 this Sunday

If it’s unclear what we mean by this, if you don’t have yourself paid up to date by the Newcastle v City kick off you will not score any points this week.

We’ve been asking for money from some people for over a month and as the last two weeks draw in it looks like nobody is bothering. This is not fair on the people who have paid up to the end of the season and it is unfair on the people who are due prizes.

The remaining two weeks (week 37 and 38) have a few anomalous fixtures, that is some fixtures that were postponed for various reasons. The simplest way to deal with these extra fixtures is to scratch all the midweek games from the cashball calendar.

So week 37 will feature 9 games from the weekend of the 5th and 6th of May, as follows

Arsenal v Norwich
Newcastle v Man City
Aston Villa v Tottenham
Bolton v West Brom
Fulham v Sunderland
QPR v Stoke
Wolves v Everton
Man Utd v Swansea
Blackburn v Wigan

And Week 38 will feature all final day of the season games on Sunday the 13th, otherwise known as JUDGEMENT DAY.
I don’t really know what to say about people who haven’t paid any subs for weeks and weeks, I can’t exactly kick people out because that isn’t how we do things, any suggestions about how we handle unpaid subs would be most welcome, drop me an email at paul.higham@gmail.com
